Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Patients should choose me for their healthcare because I am a highly skilled, technical, Neurosurgeon, who is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. In addition, I have always prided myself in my ability to form a strong, empathetic, relationship with all of my patients, as we navigate through their healthcare needs.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients should expect me to evaluate their complaints, formulate a comprehensive treatment program, and implement all portions of that plan to provide them with the expected outcome. I expect my patients and their families to listen, and be active participants during their treatment plan. I am hopeful that my patients will adhere to all of my recommendations during the pre-operative and post-operative periods to improve their expected outcomes.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
During my time, I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with my wife and son.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
The central and peripheral nervous system pathologies have always intrigued me as much of its understanding still remains to be discovered. Neurological surgery remains extremely rewarding to me because I am able to care for a variety of patients, including the most acute patients who may require life-saving surgery, and also elective patients who may need smaller procedures to improve their quality of life.
