Ahmed Mashood Khan Durrani, MD

Ahmed Mashood Khan Durrani, MD is board-certified in family medicine and completed his medical school in Lahore, Pakistan, a city, as diverse as the people. Dr. Durrani treated patients from a diverse pool of socioeconomic status, allowing him to hone his skills as a family medicine practitioner. Shortly after, he was accepted for a family medicine residency in the United States where he had the opportunity to learn and adapt to a completely new culture, people and professional way of life. Completing his residency in the US has further strengthened his resolve to work within this field and I strongly believe that it aligns with his core values. Dr. Durrani is glad that all of his patient interactions have been based on mutual respect and empathy that allows him to build a relationship with his patients which he believes is a hallmark of being a family practitioner.

My patients can expect professional quality care. In return, I expect them to be comfortable enough with me to achieve their health goals.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I like to spend my time working out at the gym or sitting by the lake reading a book.

I chose this specialty because it aligns with my career goals and I value taking care of patients from diverse backgrounds.
