Brooke E. Littlefield, DO

As a primary care physician, Dr. Littlefield believes in an individually tailored approach to treating her patients. She provides a warm and comfortable environment to enable open communication, allowing for the highest quality patient-centered care. With both allopathic and osteopathic board certification, she specializes in preventative medicine as well as treating both acute and chronic diseases in patients of all ages. As an osteopathic physician, she has a vast knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and can offer osteopathic manipulative treatments. As a Hudson Valley native, she is excited to be giving back to a community that has given so much to her. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, ice fishing and watching Penn State football games!

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I treat every patient as if they were my own family. Knowing my patients on a personal level allows me to tailor my approach to each individual. I encourage patients to ask questions and enjoy explaining physiology at any level that the patient understands.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I provide a comfortable environment for my patients to discuss all aspects of their health. Quality care starts with an open and honest patient-physician relationship and I pride myself on fostering a safe environment for every person. I expect my patients to be trusting and know that I will always consider their concerns and advocate for their well-being.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I love spending time with family and friends and enjoy trying new recipes, dancing, wakeboarding, skiing and ice fishing.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Being a primary care provider allows me to form a more personal connection with my patients and care for them from pediatrics to geriatrics. Seeing my patients grow and being able to assist them in leading a proactive and healthy lifestyle is the greatest honor.
