Carla S. Oliveira, APRN

Carla Oliveira es una ex enfermera de Med Surge con más de 10 años de experiencia en el Hospital de Danbury. Recientemente se ha unido a la práctica médica para brindar atención de salud tanto presencial como virtual a pacientes de todo Connecticut en un entorno amable y compasivo. Carla is a Family Nurse Practitioner and board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Connecticut State University and her master's degree – FNP from Regis College in Massachusetts. Carla was born in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese and conversant in Spanish.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I listen to my patients and show them that I care. 

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I explain to my patients why I am making the decisions I am about their health. I feel that when patients understand the reason behind what you tell them to do or not, it improves compliance with the treatment plan. I expect my patients to be open and honest about their health issues and compliant with their treatment plans. 

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family and love traveling.
