About David K. McIntosh
Professional Statement
Get To Know Me
I am genuinely interested in caring for and helping people work toward better health.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I will always be honest and I am responsive to my patients questions and needs. I am a good communicator. I expect my patients to display the same genuine honesty and willingness to work together.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love to read and hike. I love to go to parks and trails throughout Connecticut.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have always loved providing care for both children and adults and felt dual internal medicine and pediatrics specialties offered the best training. I love seeing patients from infants to older adults.

Dr. McIntosh called me frequently (when I was unable to answer) and left me a detailed message about my concerns and my options.

Dr. Mcintosh treats me as an individual, and understands how my body reacts in certain ways. He knows that certain test results are the norm for me, even if they may not be the norm for the average person. We can then focus on the issues that really need to be addressed, if any. Thank you, Dr. Mcintosh, for many years of kind and positive interactions.
