I treat my patients and not just the illness, and use a holistic approach to providing care. I consider their physical, psychological as well as spiritual well-being.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients can depend on me to navigate them through all medical needs. I value an open discussion, transparency and willingness to participate in their health.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in volunteer activities, reading, playing the piano and outdoor activities such as hiking, tennis and skiing.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose this specialty to be of service to people. The greatest reward is to see my patients lead the healthy lives they deserve and to be a part of that journey with them.

I am a new patient. I saw her twice. She ordered blood tests and a bone density. The second time I went she explained things thoroughly and gave me the results of my tests. I would say she is an excellent MD. I WILL BE BACK.
