Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
My goal with each and every patient visit is to ensure that patient's medical problems and concerns are addressed in a comprehensive manner and they feel understood, listened to and also understand and empowered with knowledge of their medical issues and a clearly outlined plan for management.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients should expect that they will receive care from a knowledgeable practitioner who is well versed in the management of their cardiac issues and that their provider listens to concerns, is empathetic, timely, courteous and provides clear explanations of problems and possible solutions as well as follow up plans
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
In my free time, I enjoy time with family and friends, reading a good book, a period drama, travel and beach vacations. I stay active by running, biking, skiing and long walks around all the lovely green spaces in the Hudson Valley.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I began working in cardiology in 1994 and this has remained my specialty focus for nearly 30 years. It has been rewarding to follow along with patients and be their partners in helping restore and optimize health despite the challenges of cardiac disease.
