Laurel Kemp is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care to patients hospitalized with a cardiac issue. She takes a special interest in educating patients and their family members to optimize their quality of life. The hospital environment can be overwhelming and confusing to patients, Ms. Kemp prides herself on taking the time to explain all aspects of patient care, answer all patient questions, and coordinate services. I expect patients to be active and participate in their care. Sharing any obstacles they are having is crucial so I can help find ways to overcome these obstacles.

Spending time outdoors with family, skiing, supporting, and volunteering for community organizations.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Inpatient cardiac care allows me to treat and care for people with a wide variety of cardiac diagnoses and an opportunity to educate patients on overall heart health.
