Mohamed A. Merghani, MD

Dr. Mohamed Merghani is an internist, board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As part of the Hospitalist Team, Dr. Merghani enjoys caring for patients when they are admitted – and helping to coordinate care when they are ready to leave. He also finds it rewarding to work closely with the rest of the hospital team in order to meet all the healthcare needs of our patients.

In my career, my mission is always to put the patient first before anything else.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Being patient and flexible.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy hiking, traveling and watching soccer games

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I spent most of my free time when I was a teenager taking care of my sick grandmother and grandfather. It instilled in me a drive to provide that level of care to them.

The greatest reward for that is self-satisfaction when seeing patients improve and back to their lives.
