Ahmad Bhaiyat, MD, Resident Physician

Dr. Ahmad Bhaiyat is a Family Medicine resident who brings a diverse background to his practice. Originally from India, he was born in Zambia and raised in Grenada. After earning his degree, Dr. Bhaiyat entered the premed program at St. George's University, where he completed his medical education.

His approach to patient care centers on careful listening, clear communication, and collaborative decision-making, ensuring that patients feel informed, supported, and confident about their health choices. Dr. Bhaiyat believes that strong communication and mutual respect are essential to a successful patient-physician relationship and encourages honesty and active participation so he and his patients can work together toward meaningful health goals.

Dr. Bhaiyat's clinical interests include preventive medicine, sports medicine, and chronic disease management. He is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to take an active role in maintaining their health.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I like to stay active, watch and play sports, and spend time with friends in the city while trying new foods and exploring different cuisines.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose Family Medicine for its variety and continuity. The greatest reward is supporting patients’ lifelong health.
