My background in healthcare administration as well as business analytics and information technology encourages me to have a forward approach to patient care. I’m a believer in using data and systems to move healthcare forward to reduce critical illness and improve care thus leading improvements for our community and patients.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I seek to care for my patients just as I would my own family members by helping them to develop and being there for them through their momentous occasions.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I want to be an advocate for my patients while I help them through their healthcare journey, attaining their personal goals and improving their health. I want to seek to understand their needs and be them be there for them in their happy and difficult times.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Most of my free time I prefer to dedicate to my loving family. I love to travel and find inspiration to make new cuisines/dishes. I’m an avid cycler and love to try new trails. I also enjoy playing tennis and doing home construction projects.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Internal medicine combined with Clinical Informatics is a novel and expanding area of medicine. I’m fortunate to be able to assess the needs of our patients at the bedside and bring innovative solutions to enhance the experience of seeing a physician.
