Alexa M. Capalbo, APRN

Alexa Capalbo is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, who specializes in gastroenterology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Practice from Western Connecticut State University and is credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Alexa earned extensive experience as a registered nurse, ranging from cardiac care to post-surgical/anesthesia care. She also brings experience working as a gastroenterology procedural nurse, helping her to educate patients from the inside out.

She values the importance of developing a meaningful and trusting relationship with her patients and is committed to helping them achieve their health goals.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Gastroenterology is one of the most unique and dynamic specialties. By encompassing such a wide variety of diseases and with its ongoing advancements, gastroenterology is an area of medicine that could keep just about anyone on their toes!
