Alexis Behar, PA-C

Alexix Behar, PA, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. Following her undergraduate studies, she relocated to New York City to pursue a master’s in physician assistant studies at Pace University’s Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program.

She is dedicated to delivering compassionate care to every patient she works with. Her goal is to empower individuals to achieve their health objectives by offering comprehensive, evidence-based care.

In her leisure time, she enjoys knitting and crocheting, spending time outdoors, and horseback riding.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I have an empathetic and educational approach to patient care. I want to meet patients where they are and work with them collaboratively to help them lead healthier lives.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
You can expect an honest and personalized approach to patient care, while I expect you to be an active participant in your healing journey.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I find nature and spending time with loved ones to be very healing both mentally and physically. I enjoy hiking, reading, listening to music, participating in a craft, or baking to be personally rewarding.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
As a lifelong learner, I chose hospitalist medicine because of its evolving nature. I find reward in helping people return to what matters most to them in their lives.
