Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I have experience caring for patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. I am detail-oriented, while still seeing the big picture of what is going on. I have a holistic approach to health and wellness in general.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients can be assured that they will have thorough and reliable follow-ups when they come to see me. I will always take the time to listen to all of their concerns. I follow up when I say I am going to, and don’t let anything fall through the cracks.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I have my hands full with my first baby girl who was born last May. In the summer we enjoy bringing her to the beach in Rhode Island where my parents live. And in the winter I love to ski.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Primary care is such an important field that we need great providers in. I love helping patients make positive lifestyle changes that make a huge impact on their overall health. It’s so rewarding when a patient who has been without healthcare for a long time, finally comes to me and we are able to take control of their health together.

Alyson spent more time with me to discuss my situation in this one visit compared to my last 3 annual physicals. As a patient with the office for over 20 years, I was considering finding another provider because my annual physicals seemed so superficial.
