Alyssa Kirk Stenta, PA-C

Alyssa is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant who strongly believes in patient-centered care through building strong relationships and patient education. She has a passion for surgical upper extremity orthopedics and has previously worked in family medicine and urgent care settings. Alyssa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She is a lover of all sports, enjoys eating good food with her husband, and loves spending time with her family and 3 pets.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
The most important thing in a professional relationship is mutual respect. You will receive the type of care I would give to my family, filled with communication, empathy and teamwork. I expect the same in return.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Listening to audiobooks, watching TV/movies, spending time with loved ones

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I love orthopedics because I am an athlete at heart and enjoy body mechanics. The greatest reward is watching a patient have an improved quality of life.
