Andreas M. Spirig, MD

Dr. Spirig believes that the core of the patient-physician relationship begins with an honest and open discussion that creates trust and mutual respect. He focuses on providing patient-centric, compassionate vascular care. His areas of expertise include open and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular interventions for limb salvage, carotid endarterectomy and stenting for stroke prevention, and vascular access interventions for patients with ESRD. Dr. Spirig prides himself in providing cutting-edge, innovative vascular surgery care in a multidisciplinary team approach. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, and snowboarding. He has a special soft spot for his three dogs Giada, Nero and George.

Vascular surgery is a technically-demanding specialty that solves complex problems with a team approach. A smiling patient with a successful surgical outcome is both humbling and deeply gratifying.
