Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Children deserve a provider who listens, processes and provides directions for families who are in crisis. It is always my goal to explain as we go and provide satisfactory resolution for the families I treat.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Any therapeutic relationship is built on mutual respect. We should treat one another honestly and kindly and that is the best way to maximize your health and my ability to help you.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I am a father of six boys, so most of my non-working time is spent living life together with them, whether it is coaching baseball or seeking out new adventures, my wife and I spend our time with them enjoying time together.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose Pediatric Emergency Medicine because it addresses the most vulnerable patients at their most vulnerable time. I appreciate the unpredictability and varied nature of my work. Nothing more satisfying than allaying a family's worries and helping them work through a stressful situation.
