Angelie Rushano, FNP

Angelie LaBarbera is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Angelie completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Mount Saint Mary College, obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing. She has experience in cardiac care and critical care, caring for a wide variety of complex patients. Angelie enjoys caring for the whole person with a focus on heart health and overall patient well-being.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Being outdoors and spending quality time with my family. I enjoy going to the lake, taking walks with my dog, and hiking. Spin classes keep me feeling my best.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have always been drawn to Cardiology. With a family history, I have prioritized both personal and patient treatment and prevention of a wide variety of cardiac diagnoses. Helping patients feel and become their best is the ultimate reward.
