Anna Sullivan is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with over 20 years of experience. Anna graduated from the ACNP program of Columbia University; she has spent the last 16 plus years working in interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery patient populations. Anna believes in providing her patients with the knowledge to participate and succeed in their own healthcare. She strives to advocate for all her patients to have access to the best opportunities for their health.

I am a determined advocate for my patients and will do my best to give my patients access to the best care options available.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients can be assured that I will engage them in choosing from their options when it comes to their health. I want them to ask questions and be engaged.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Spending time with my family and pursuing my creative side!

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
There are so many opportunities in Cardiology to improve someone's health. There are new advances every day. Having someone come home from the hospital armed with knowledge and with a better quality of life than when they came in is my work's greatest reward.
