AnneMarie Teti, PsyD

Dr. Teti is a clinical neuropsychologist who has experience evaluating adults with a wide array of neurological, medical, and psychological conditions such as mild cognitive impairment and dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke, acquired brain injury, and severe mental illness. She additionally has experience conducting both pre- and post-surgical evaluations for movement disorders and epilepsy.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I like to take a comprehensive and personalized approach with each of my patients during an evaluation.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I find it's important to take time and work together with each patient to best understand their concerns and all aspects of their daily functioning. For me, communication is an important part of the evaluation and I ask that patients try to be as open and honest with me as they can so I may best assist them.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exercising, reading and listening to music.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have always enjoyed learning about the relationship between the brain and behavior. As a neuropsychologist, I am able to use that knowledge to best assist others in understanding their current level of functioning.
