I strive to provide evidence-based medicine with patient-centered care. I prefer to offer options of care management with a focus on lifestyle modifications and encourage patient autonomy for long-lasting change.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I strive to be respectful, flexible transparent and honest regarding patient diagnosis, prognosis and options moving forward. I would appreciate my patients being honest with me and ensuring they are comfortable sharing health concerns without fear of judgment.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, our son and our dog. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places, hiking, camping and spending time with family.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Cardiology has always fascinated me in its complexity. It has been especially rewarding to witness patients implementing lifestyle changes that give them a second chance in life. The willingness to put in the work to improve their life has been inspiring.
