Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health
A year before I graduated high school my grandmother fell ill but compassionate and intelligent doctors, brought her back to good health. Witnessing the most precious person in my life recover was my inspiration to become a doctor and I made it my life goal to save lives.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Compassionate and evidence-based care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I do yoga, hike, skiing and reading. I am also experimenting with photography and painting.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I developed a passion for nephrology after working with my mentors and treating patients with kidney disease during my residency at Danbury Hospital. My greatest reward for being a nephrologist is to go to work knowing that I am a part of a team of physicians who make a difference in someone’s lives.
