Brian A. Piatigorski, MD

Brian Piatigorski, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician originally from Montvale, NJ. Following both undergraduate and medical education at Georgetown University, he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Northwell North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. Away from the hospital, Dr. Piatigorski enjoys getting out to a ballgame, having strong opinions on pizza and bagels and spending time with family.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
While you rarely if ever expect to find yourself in the emergency department, I hope to leave my patients knowing their doctor has taken the time to hear their concerns and address them to the best of my ability.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients can expect me to be kind and respectful, always.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I enjoy being perennially optimistic about the Mets, whether it is merited or not. I am good for a slice of pizza as reliably as I am for a slice on the golf course. And I love doing all that and more with friends and family.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I love not knowing what each day is going to bring.
