Brian R. Binetti, MD

Brian Binetti, MD, FACS, FASMBS is a board-certified and fellowship-trained minimally invasive surgeon. He is the chair of surgery and director of metabolic and bariatric surgery at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Dr. Binetti received the Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery* Designation from the Surgical Review Corporation. His areas of expertise include metabolic and bariatric surgery, robotics, complex hernia repair and surgical treatment of GERD.

Dr. Binetti understands the decision to have surgery can be daunting. He strives to provide a safe and comforting environment for his patients so they feel supported throughout their experience. Dr. Binetti and his team work hard to individualize the needs of each patient when it comes to their care.

In his free time, Dr. Binetti enjoys adventuring outdoors with his family in the beautiful Hudson Valley. He likes to hike, camp and snowboard in the Catskill mountains. He also enjoys seeing and playing live music.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Surgery is the most rewarding and humbling profession. There is nothing more gratifying than being able to heal a patient through surgical care.
