Brittany Dispensa, PA-C

Brittany Dispensa, PA-C was born and raised in Kingston. Her first hospital job was at VBMC as a float PD Unit Secretary. Brittany went to Siena College and graduated in 2011 with a BS in Biology. After college, she moved to Manhattan where she attended PA school at Pace University. Her first job as a PA was at Beth Israel in the adult Surgical ICU, two years later she moved to Interventional Cardiology at NYU where she practiced for 1 year. In 2018 the Neonatal ICU had an opening which has always been a dream for Brittany. In 2022 she moved to Rhode Island for personal reasons and she recently moved back to the Hudson Valley.

I am compassionate toward my patients and their families

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
When I am not caring for my patients I am most likely traveling!

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose to work in the NICU because my little brother was born IUGR and stayed in the NICU for a few weeks after he was born. He had cerebral palsy and was completely dependent on my family for his care.
