Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I focus on each patient's unique situation while taking time to explain the details of the disease and treatment options. I also utilize the latest technology and techniques in the operating room to maximize your recovery and comfort. For more complex patients, I work with a team of experts in other fields of medicine to optimize your health
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Surgery can be intimidating and stressful so I do my best to make a comfortable environment with open communication. In exchange, I ask that my patients be open and honest with me so that I can address any questions or concerns.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy traveling, cooking and gardening with my wife and two daughters.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
My initial attraction to thoracic surgery was its diagnostic complexity, challenging surgeries, and the ability to make an impact on my patient's lives. My reward is the many meaningful and lasting relationships I have with my patients.

Explained my options well giving them equal value. Truly a kind and professional Dr that is there for his patients. His staff is also fantastic. My bp and heart rate was normal while waiting for results. This reflects the calmness the nurse brought while taking my vitals.
