Caroline Varlotta is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician, with subspecialty training in Pain Medicine, having completed residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, and her fellowship training at Mount Sinai Morningside and West. She is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to her patients to improve their quality of life. Dr. Varlotta recognizes each patient is unique and believes in the importance of building collaborative care plans with her patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Varlotta enjoys hiking, baking, and reading.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I love to spend time with my family, my dog, and my friends. Hiking or walking is my favorite past-time, as I find clarity in these activities.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Pain medicine is complex, but even small relief can transform life. My greatest reward is helping patients live longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives.
