Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to take care of their health?
I am very detail-oriented and make a point of taking time to understand the nuances of each patient's history.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you?
I treat all my patients with dignity and respect, as if they were a member of my family. I expect my patients to actively participate in the work necessary to get them well and stay well.

How do you spend your personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I like spending time with my children and grandchildren, exercising and traveling.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is your greatest reward?
I chose pulmonary medicine because from a young age I wanted to help people quit smoking. Later, as a resident doctor, I had a mentor who was a pulmonologist.
