Cathleen Belle Quaglietta, NP

Cathy Quaglietta, NP is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her BN from Pace University Leonard School of Nursing and received her NP degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.

Her career has been focused on Gynecology, including adolescent Gyn and menopause. She loves traveling and spends most of her free time caring for her 2 Parrots. She considers caring for the women in the Hudson Valley her most special privilege.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I have 26 years of experience in caring for women, from Adolescence thru menopause. The relationship between a woman and her Gyn is a special one.

I listen closely to the patient before we develop a care plan together. I treat everyone as an individual, with compassion, and respect.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I believe medicine should be approached with honesty, compassion, and a little sense of humor.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I spend my free time traveling, caring for my parrots and spending time with my family.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
As a nurse, I worked Obstetrics in a hospital setting. My passion is educating women of all ages about their body, to help them maintain a healthy life.
