Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Being able to care for someone is a privilege and an honor. I am always guided by this principle, every opportunity to serve my patients and their families is a blessing that ultimately leads to my biggest accomplishments which are professional satisfaction, earned trust and respect for me. Patients and their health issues are my biggest priorities, not what I am capable of doing but what can I do to make the patient's life better.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Respect for who they are, their life stories, their confidence and trust in me which is the most motivating factor for me to go above and beyond in my professional role for them. Mutual respect is the only thing I expect.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Hiking outdoors and getting lost in the woods, especially if it's around a water body. Reading history from different critical viewpoints, understanding geopolitical events, following Cricket-Soccer-NBA games and trying to make sense of enigmatic life.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
During my training in England, I happen to successfully resuscitate a cardiac arrest patient who was having a life-threatening "Heart Attack". I witnessed primary angioplasty for the first time as a life saving procedure and was mesmerized. The patient happened to have the same date of birth as my "Dad". That very moment, a dream was born and to make it successful, I made it my "American Dream". My greatest reward is being able to do such lifesaving work and do justice to the very dream, which was my true calling.
