Christine Marie Henry, PA-C

Christine Johnson is a family medicine Physician Assistant, who grew up in the Hudson Valley. She received her undergraduate education from Binghamton University in Integrative Neuroscience and then went on to pursue a degree from Albany Medical College, where she studied Physician Assistant Studies. After completing her education, she returned to the Hudson Valley, to treat patients in her hometown. Christine Johnson enjoys seeing patients of all different age groups and has an interest in women’s health, pediatrics, mental health and preventative medicine. She is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of her patients while being both compassionate and providing patient-centered care. 

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I strive to provide a welcoming, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment, where patients can be themselves, and come to me with questions and or concerns. Together as a team, we can come up with a treatment plan, that will work best for the patient.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients should expect to see a provider that cares about both their physical and mental health. I want my patients to feel comfortable, respected and heard after a visit with me. I expect my patients to be honest and open to discussing their health goals and or concerns during our office visits.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
During my time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my golden retriever. Some of my hobbies include reading, hiking, traveling and spending time outdoors.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose to work in Family Medicine because I enjoy treating patients from all different age groups. I love being able to treat a patient as an individual but also knowing their family members as well. Being able to treat a patient throughout their lifetime is both rewarding and an honor as their provider.
