Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
Receiving a new diagnosis can be frightening, and I believe it is the surgeon’s role to help patients navigate the increasingly complex landscape of modern healthcare. I always try to take that extra minute to help patients understand their diagnoses and treatment plans. I think it is our job as physicians to advocate for whatever is best for our patients to ensure they receive the best possible treatment for whatever condition they have.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I believe that every patient and disease is unique and requires a personalized care approach. I always try to dedicate the time to understanding each patient's individual needs, ensuring their treatment is as effective and tailored as possible.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Outside of the operating room, I enjoy spending time with my growing family as well as being involved in the local Greek community.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose thoracic surgery for its complexity and the profound impact it can have on patients' lives. The greatest reward is seeing patients recover and thrive after complex procedures, knowing that my work has significantly improved their health and well-being.

I was quite anxious about this visit and meeting a new physician. I cannot express how comfortable I was. He explained very clearly, asked questions, listened carefully to my input. He offered to reach out to me next week after I see another doctor. He understood my concerns and allowed me to voice them. His patients are very fortunate to be in his care🌿

I went in to drop off paperwork for my return to work medical release. I did not have an appointment and was not expecting to see him but he met with me to go over how I was doing. He was very accommodating.
