Dalton Rifenburg, DO, Resident Physician

Dalton Rifenburg, DO, is a family medicine resident who grew up in the Hudson Valley in the town of Hyde Park. He started his education locally at Dutchess Community College and then completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Albany in New York. He completed his medical school training at Campbell University in North Carolina and is now thrilled to be back home serving his community as a resident physician. He takes a collaborative approach with his patients - where he listens to his patients' concerns and always works to develop a treatment plan they are comfortable with. He prioritizes spending time with his patients, being an attentive listener, and always being thorough in his medical care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing/watching sports, reading, watching movies, and eating out at local restaurants. Dr. Rifenburg is currently seeing patients at Rhinebeck Primary Care and Kingston Primary Care.

I love to spend time with family/friends, watch/play sports, read, watch movies, and eat out at local restaurants.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose family medicine to build meaningful relationships with my patients and provide thorough care with an emphasis on disease prevention.
