About Dan Cruser
Professional Statement
Daniel Cruser, MD, completed his residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center followed by a fellowship in hematology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and a career in Army medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic/clinical pathology and hematology and now practices pathology. He firmly believes that medicine starts and ends with the patient and practices pathology accordingly. His subspecialty interests include benign and malignant hematologic disorders, head and neck pathology, neuropathology and pancreatobiliary lesions.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy reading, running and spending time with my family.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Pathology and laboratory medicine support the entire spectrum of patients and diseases, resulting in unlimited possibilities for learning, growth and challenges as medicine and time progress.
