Danielle Wright, MD

Danielle Wright, MD, MS, is an Emergency Medicine Physician who trained and was Chief Resident at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital. She holds a Masters in Health Care Administration. Dr. Wright has published, presented, and currently teaches a course on techniques for working with special needs patients. Her additional interests in Medicine include patient communication, curriculum development, simulation-based clinical skills training and operations.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients should expect caring, comprehensive care from me. I am a great communicator and take great pride in shared decision-making with my patients. I hope to create a relationship between myself and my patients and their families.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
In my free time, my husband and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, home renovation, skiing and water sports.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Caring for patients during an emergency or a difficult time in their lives can be an extremely important moment. Providing safe, compassionate, quality care while communicating well with patients and loved ones is something I value greatly.
