About Daryl R. Story
Professional Statement
Raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, Dr. Story graduated from Dartmouth College where he majored in engineering. He received his MD degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and was trained in general neurology and stroke at Yale University.
Dr. Story has been in neurology practice in Norwalk, CT for 20 years, also serving as director of the Norwalk Hospital Stroke Center. He has served on various committees at Norwalk Hospital including 2 years as chairman of the Ethics Committee. Currently, Dr. Story is the Chief-of-Staff at Norwalk Hospital and section chief of neurology.
Outside of work, Dr. Story enjoys, running, skiing, sailing, choral singing and spending time with family.

I take the time to listen to patients so that I fully understand their condition.

I will always try my best to address the illness and the whole person
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I spend time with my family. I enjoy running, skiing, sailing and music.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I enjoy trying to solve complex problems involving the brain and nervous system.
