David S. Morse, MD

Dr Morse specializes in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology. He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography. In his 35-year career, he has published a number of research and educational materials related to anesthesiology for cardiac surgery. He divides his time clinically between Connecticut and Palm Beach County, FL.

I am highly experienced (35 years) and detail oriented but also embrace new ideas and technology. I interact respectfully with the surgical team.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I am honest and respectful. I expect the same.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I spend time with my wife and two large dogs. I play golf, bridge and bass guitar. I root for the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I was attracted to the logic and beauty of human physiology. Being trusted by a person in pain and/or afraid and seeing them to safety.
