Elizabeth C. Indorf, PA

Elizabeth Indorf is a bilingual (English/Spanish), primary care physician assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She has provided comprehensive care to patients of diverse age groups as well as socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. While she is well versed in interventional medicine, she is especially passionate about preventative medicine, with a focus on educating patients about healthy lifestyles to improve or prevent certain medical problems. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, creative writing and walking or hiking the various trails around Connecticut. 

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I enjoy being comprehensive about all aspects of a patient's health (physical, emotional, and social) and educating a patient on ways to manage their medical issues through lifestyle changes.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
While part of my job as a health care provider is to provide medical advice on how to manage one's medical problems(s), I make sure that the patient understands that they still have a say in their care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Spending time with family, gardening, creative writing, or exploring the outdoors.  

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
As a primary care provider, I enjoy having the ability to meet patients who come from diverse age groups and social backgrounds and to address various medical problems and complaints--whether it is an acute illness such as an upper respiratory infection, or a chronic problem such as diabetes.
