I am dedicated to putting my patients first and treating each patient as an individual, listening with care and honoring their perspective in their healthcare journey.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Trust and honesty is critical in the relationship between physician and patient. It forms the foundation from which to work together to achieve mutual goals.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I am an avid swimmer, love reading and being with my four kids, and have recently discovered a newfound love of kayaking.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose internal medicine for the challenge of learning about and managing a wide variety of complex problems and, most importantly, fostering meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
