About Elvita Genelus-Dominique
Professional Statement
Dr. Dominique is double board certified in general surgery and trauma/critical care and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She treats primarily trauma patients and those requiring emergency surgery. She believes in providing high quality, personal and compassionate care for patients during their most vulnerable times. She is also a core faculty member of the general surgery residency program. She has great interest in global health and has participated in several mission trips to Haiti. She is fluent in Creole and serves as a volunteer consultant for the C&G Cancer Center in the northern part of Haiti. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, exercising, traveling and playing/watching sports.
