Emily A. Vistica Sampino, MD

Dr. Sampino is a board-certified Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist providing evidence-based and family-centered care to children with blood disorders and cancer. Dr. Sampino has a special interest in caring for children with Sickle Cell Disease and prior research focused on understanding the complex pathophysiology of Sickle Cell Disease. In her free time, Dr. Sampino enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have always been drawn to the field of pediatric hematology-oncology and enjoy partnering with children and their families through navigating their childhood blood disorders or cancer.
