Erin G. Platt, PA

Erin Platt is a board-certified physician assistant with a wide range of experience including primary care, internal medical, geriatrics and gastroenterology. She is passionate about upholding a high standard of care despite the fast-paced healthcare system. She promotes active dialogue between herself and patients to encourage individuals to play an informed and active role in their health. She focuses on the “big picture” including what is most important to her patients and their unique health care goals. Erin has a personal interest in nutrition and its impact on long-term health and longevity as well as exploring the mind-gut connection. She is a mother of 3 school-aged children and enjoys Pilates, gardening and running, having just completed her first half marathon.

I am a strong advocate for my patient’s health and well-being. I am detail-oriented and always try to present information clearly and concisely so that it is understandable and can be retained. I expect honesty and respect from my patients.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy spending time with my three children, running and gardening.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have a special interest in nutrition, functional bowel disorders as well as exploring the brain-gut connection. The greatest reward is to provide patients with a better quality of life by helping them feel their best.
