Erol Nargileci, MD

Dr Nargileci is an Interventional Cardiologist with over 17 years of experience in Medicine. In 2019, he completed his Interventional Cardiology training at Yale New Haven Health - Bridgeport Hospital and moved to Indiana, where he served as the Director of the Echodiagnostic Lab/Cardiac Rehabilitation and provided exceptional care to patients with complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease. In 2024, he relocated to CT to be closer to his Family. Dr. Nargileci takes ownership of the care of his patients. He strongly believes in educating his patients about their disease process through sincere, sympathetic and reliable communication.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I take ownership of my patients. I take pride in treating them like family. They should not expect anything less than the care they would get from their loved ones. In return, I expect them to be equally engaged in their care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I spend my free time playing with our two kids, ages 4 and 5, fueling their passion and teaching them how to be a better person. Madina, my soul mate and first love in life makes sure, her 3 kids don't run away. We love to travel abroad, discover new cultures and make new friends. Life is short, we try to enjoy it.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
For the most part, even the most complex cases I take care of are preventable diseases. Therefore, I spend significant time to educate my patients. The intervention I perform shows their effects right away. Seeing them feel better, becoming once again, active and functional members of society gives me the greatest satisfaction.
