Ezra Joseph Guttmann, DO

Dr. Ezra Guttmann is a board-certified family medicine physician with training in full-spectrum primary care for patients of all ages. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, New York, and completed his residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

His clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, men’s health, and musculoskeletal conditions. He has a particular interest in osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), especially for patients with back and hip pain. Dr. Guttmann incorporates OMT as a non-invasive, hands-on approach to improve mobility and function.

His approach to care emphasizes continuity, communication, and shared decision-making. He is committed to providing practical, evidence-based guidance to support long-term health and patient goals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Guttmann enjoys strength training, spending time outdoors, playing music, and working on videography projects.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Outside of work, I enjoy strength training, being outdoors, playing music, working on videography projects, and spending quality time with my wife. These keep me grounded and fulfilled.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose family medicine because I value long-term relationships and the chance to care for the whole person. The greatest reward is earning my patients’ trust and helping them grow healthier over time.
