Fariahh Fazil, FNP

Fariahh Fazil is a board-certified Family Nurse practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Services. As part of the Hospitalist Team, Fariahh enjoys caring for patients when they are admitted – and helping to coordinate care when they are ready to leave. She also finds it rewarding to work closely with the rest of the hospital team to meet all the healthcare needs of our patients. Fariahh recently moved to the Hudson Valley and is looking forward to exploring the many hiking trails it has to offer.

I care for my patients as if they are a member of my family.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I am very compassionate and I feel it's very important to listen to patients and involve them in their plan of care.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Cooking and watching documentaries

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Diversity of care. The greatest reward is getting my patients healed.
