Dr. Zahrah completed his fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Brown University. He has served in multiple leadership roles throughout his career, most recently as medical director of oncology/hematology at Norwalk Hospital. He has also been an active and key participant in the cancer research program. A leader in clinical genetics, Dr. Zahrah founded the cancer genetics program at Norwalk Hospital and oversees genetics in Connecticut.
Dr. Zahrah is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. He is a consultant physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
