Geraldine Simplice, APRN

Dr. Geraldine Simplice, DNP-APRN, is a gerontology nurse Practitioner board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is well-versed in diagnosing and providing care to adults with a focus on acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Simplice is passionate about women's health and spends time caring for patients with acute gynecological issues. She enjoys getting to know her patients, with a strong focus on building meaningful relationships. Dr. Simplice understands the importance of patient engagement and strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for those seeking care. She is fluent in Haitian Creole and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

My patients should expect to be a part of their care, as we are a team. I rely on the patient to be engaged in improving their health outcomes.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients? 
I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my 2 young children. It’s a joy to unplug and watch them grow.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward? 
My greatest reward is seeing my patients face when they achieve health goals they never thought they could. Believing and encouraging your patients to make the best health decisions can change their lives.
