Gisell Vega, MD

Dr. Vega is a Family Medicine Physician, board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I am passionate about helping others improve their health. I work to create clearly defined healthcare plans and goals catered to each patient’s unique needs.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Respect and clear communication are always given and expected in return. I find that these components are vital to a productive physician-patient relationship.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
When not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love trying out recipes from different cultures, traveling and jogging.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to build lasting relationships with my patients and allows me to provide care to patients of all ages. It is rewarding to care for patients.
