Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I listen to my patients. I am your partner in improving your sleep and wakefulness. I combine that with the experience of nearly 30 years practicing sleep medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine. Together we will improve your health.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Being engaged in your health is the best way to improve it. Asking the questions you need for optimal health. All patients are different in their approach to care, so all I expect from them is for us to find common ground in an approach to improvement.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I enjoy traveling with my wife and playing at home with our two rescue dogs. I have been a New York Giants season ticket holder since the age of 7. I also love the theatre, music, and art in New Haven, Connecticut, and New York
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
The best part about sleep medicine is hearing all the wonderful life stories and experiences of so many different people and how improving sleep can change their lives. Critical care is rewarding in treating complex and challenging conditions and shepherd patients and families through the most trying times in their lives.
