Gustavo D. Alday, MD

Dr. Alday is an internist and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His areas of expertise include inpatient medicine and he takes a special interest in motivating and educating his patients to improve their quality of life. Dr. Alday is well versed in diagnosing and managing adult patients with acute and/or chronic conditions. Dr. Alday is originally from Argentina and is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor running and indoor spinning.

Trust and honesty is most important in a physician/patient relationship. This allows me to provide personalized, excellent care.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy walking and running with my wife in the beautiful surroundings of Connecticut.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose hospital medicine because I can help my patients going through one of the most challenging times of their lives.
